Tulips Help those with cancer

ACCESS TO NHS BY RESIDENTS LIVING ABROAD

"Returning to the UK to settle - Citizens who return to the UK on a settled basis will be classed as ordinarily resident and will be entitled to free NHS care immediately"

The government is trying to discourage "health tourists" but any UK citizen going back for cancer treatment is embarking on a long road of possibly surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. They will not be told that they are cured of cancer until they have been clear of cancer for 5 years. They will obviously be returning to the UK on a permanent basis.

UK citizens living abroad are also entitled to vist a GP and A & E for free"
